Plain Green Loans/CashNetUSA loans
Date: Mon, 08/20/2012 - 12:00
I am writing from California and I am desperate to get myself out of this mess I've created. I acknowledge that I am responsible, but I need a solution because I cannot continue in my present state:
Cash Net USA - 2600 and am paying $226.14 x 2. I have made 6 semi-monthly payments (total of 34 payments due).
The last payment 3/29/2013
Pl.ainGreen - 1400 and am paying $157.52 x 2. I have made Last payment 10/31/2013.
If I do not get out of this situation, I will sink to the bottom of despair.
Please know that I am not trying to skirt my obligation of repayment. I am willing to repay the principal amount borrowed, but I also need to secure a 2 to 3 month extension before starting a new repayment plan. My goal is buy some time and then to start repayment of the balance of the principal amount, only.
If there is anyone out there who has had success with these lenders, I would really appreciate hearing from you.
I have already contact my back and placed stop payments on the ACH. Chase has assured me any attempt by these lenders will be blocked, but
I am concerned that they will harass me and contact my employer.
Any suggestions on how to handle this will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.:(
Plain Green Loans
I've took out a 2,000 dollar loan from plain green loans and have pain back 3,000 dollars to date. I told them that I put a stop on ach debits @ my bank. The flagged my account as having an inactive bank account, but still say that I owe them. What should I do?

Cashnet is a legal lender in CA...this is an installment loan, not a payday loan. You will need to talk with them to work out other payment arrangements or they could end up suing you and garnishing your wages.
Plain Green on the other hand is an illegal lender with no license. You can pay them back on your own timetable with payments you can afford. You do not owe finance charges or interest.

Thank you. I will be calling them them on Monday 8/27 to let them know that we need to work out a repayment schedule because I cannot keep their plan of $227 semi monthly. One last question, the loan was for $2600, I can only pay $125 a month. What do you think my chances are of them accepting my offer?

Maybe - offer them 100 a month first and they might counter offer with 200 - then you can say alright 125. Kind of bartering technique.
Plain Green Question
I have my 4th loan through plain green (well original one through Think Cash) and I have always paid each and every payment on time every payday (every two weeks). Now my pay dates have changed and I am only paid once a month. I asked Plain Green to update my account to corespond to my paydays and they said they cannot change anything while I am in a loan. So I have to continue paying every two weeks when my payday is only once a month. My question is, can I take back my authorization for them to debit my account directly and tell them I will mail them a payment each payday?

From what I've learned from this forum, Plain Green is not a legal lender. Read some of the posts and you may want to rethink how you're allowing Plain Green to handle you. Paying the principal amount borrowed is what is key, not the 2000% interest.
In my present financial condition, I cannot continue to pay $157.54 every 2 weeks, but I do want to repay the balance of the principal amount I owe, which is somewhere in the neighborhood shy of $650.
Good luck - read the posts about Plain Green. The contributing members here are experienced good people, not con-artists looking for a way out, but rather here to help and offer good people find an honest solution to an often dishonest PDL lender.
Plain Green - Cease & Desist Letter
Hello,
Does anyone have the email, fax and telephone numbers where to send a Cease and Desist letter, as well as a wage revocation?
Thank you.

Did you already follow the link below in my signature on how to deal with unlicensed /illegal lenders, if not do so...If you borrowed $2000 and paid $3000 they owe you a refund - ask for it in your email to them. When did you tell them you revoked ACH?
