The bank has determined that the transaction they did was unauthorized and gave me back the money. Now rapidcash is still trying to come after me. Their unlicensed in va and I paid them the principal back. Since the bank determined that they had no merit in taking my money out in the 1st place, can they still try to get my money again?

Thanks

Looks like it is a UT lender, or at least uses a UT address (I didn't check for a license but I assume that's the reason for a UT address). Email jjaramillo@utah.gov and let him know a Utah lender is trying to use its UT license in Virginia. Copy them on the email. Also, explain any harassment.

Well I will be opening a new bank account regardless but does anyone know where I can get a sample letter to revoke a ACH?

riotgrrrlbx, I am glad you are opening a new account, and closing this one right? These PDL companies will stop at nothing to get your money! Especially the illegal ones! Here is a copy of a "Revoke Authorization" letter, just keep it simple, make sure you send it certified, and give a copy to your bank also! Good luck!

Date:
Your Name
Your Address, State
Account #

To Who It May Concern:
"I hereby revoke any and all authorization I gave Company __________ to debit in any way any account I may have."

You are making them legally stronger:

If you take a loan out and agree to any companies terms, pay it back per there terms. Companies like the one mentioned report to agencies such as Teletrack and DP Bureau and the information with the bureaus are a matter of public record. Basically, they are unifying and your failure to pay them back will cause them to prevent you from doing business with anyone, including financial institutions. Read your contracts, if your old enough to loan, be responsible.

All you people are doing is ensuring these lenders register out of the country allowing them to be completely protected from lawsuits and giving them the ability to sue. You have no idea the additional costs involved when they add the legal fees to your accounts for a garnishment and it gives credit counsellors the impossible task of trying to prevent legal action from occurring.

They have to give you thirty days / 2 pay periods. Take advantage of that. If you need to reborrow when paid, start lowering your amount you borrow gradually. You all have no idea that failure to pay companies like this causes them to move offshore, and trust me, I deal with them daily, the more refusals to pay, the more the owners lick there chops.

please counselor, give it a rest.first no company thats located outside of the country can sue.second teletrack is not like a credit reporting agency.teletrack only matters in pdl's and rent to own type places.big deal,so to recap nice try,you probably are one of the many scam outfits i hear about.pity, now go away.

You obviously ARE not up to date on the rules created thanks to MR. Bush's PAYDAY Friendly supporters. Please get acquainted with the ECommerce and ESignature acts. We are all open to out of country collection activity as long as the company has one location in any participating pay day friendly state, ex. UTAH.

However, that doesn't make it right!

Credit Counsellor..I'm in NC, a state that is not pdl friendly, in fact they are prohibited. I do know that for a foreign entity to bring suit against a resident or company domiciled in this country, they HAVE to file suit in the defendant's state. Period..end of sentence.
I think everyone on this forum that entered into a 'contract' with these predatory lenders did so with full honesty; every intent to pay back what they borrowed plus interest. I know I did..hell, I've never even had a parking ticket! But what does one do when the pdl will NOT respond to phone calls, will NOT respond to faxes requesting pay-off, will NOT respond to a 3 day prior to debit letter in which you tell them you want to satisfy your loan and they keeping debiting & debiting your account until the $300 borrowed is now $960 paid! What do YOU tell your clients to do?
When the payday lenders won't abide by THEIR rules, then why in the hell should I?
Ecommerce & Esignature are meant for honest commerce not for liars and cheaters.

Dear Mr. or Ms. Credit Counsellor,

I too live in the state of North Carolina. Like most people I want to pay my debts however due to illness I could not pay them and my other creditors as well. I do know this much........Most of these companies are not licensed in the state where they are lending money. They do not want to follow the laws where the customer reside because of one thing and one thing only and that is greed!

PS. For my understanding even UT has a cap on how much a person can borrow.(Seasoned People, please correct me if I am wrong. 8) )

OK..A lot of gossip about RAPIDCASHFORYOU.COM. This company is tied to US Bank somehow through their broker and the funds the lend out, although that information only comes out in court. Apparently there money is not unsecured as they make it appear, and they actually decline loans by checking various bureaus such as teletrack and DP Bureau before they give the money, although they don't advertise that the information you give them is 1/3 of what they actually know about you. There debt buyer told me exactly how many other loans I had when I took the loan with them. I have no idea how they can be part of US Bank in every state and use the name RAPIDCASHFORYOU.COM, but, I couldn't afford an attorney so I guess I will never know.
