How can a pdl out of the county contract with a collection agency in the states? I'm sending my debt validation letter to them. But what happens after that?
If they can never validate the debt does that mean it never gets paid?
My second question, has an illegal lender ever gotten a judgement against someone in a state they are not licensed?

By the way, in all my years of helping people get out of the payday loan trap (this forum and otherwise), I have never heard of ANYone being sued by an unlicensed/illegal lenders, nor from a collection agency who was assigned by an unlicensed/illegal lender. Not even once.

Usually, what happens is, and illegal lender will fax information to a collection agency, sign a contract with them and give them permission to try to collect the debt. Unbeknownst to the collection agency, all they know for certain is they are being hired to collect a debt and will make (usually) 50% of whatever they collect. Another scenario is; the collection agency is a bottom feeder and only cares about $$$$, or, the collection agency is in fact an employee in a different room pretending to be a collection agency.
