i have 5 current payday loans. i believe all of the companies are legal (or at least legal in WI). i am not able to keep up with the interest payments and my other expenses let alone pay down the loans.

i have spoken with two companies about epp but they stated they cannot set up an epp until i default on the loan.

i have arranged for a "hard hold/freeze" to be placed on my checking account and transferred my direct deposit.

what steps should i take next? i fully intend to payback all of the loans/amounts due. i am interested in my options and best recourse.

cashnetusa (online) 400/490
check-n-go (online) 325/406.25
check into chash (online dba loan by phone) 300/366
payday loan store (storefront) 800/1040
USBANK Cash Advance (linked to my checking account at USBANK) 500/514

Total =2,325/2,816.25

I will need to calculate the amounts already paid. check-n-go and cashnetusa said I can do an epp but i have to let the accounts default first. Does the epp start immediately after I default? What should I know about them?

I have not contacted check into cash or the pls storefront about epp.

What are my best options to proceed? I spoke with consolidated debt solutions as a potential solution but they wanted to charge another $1,200 over the next year for their services (30% of debt total, plus a finance fee, plus a monthly fee).

I prefer to handle this myself.

My cousin has US bank and she uses that Cash Advance tied to her account as well. I know it's gotten her in trouble a few times. You can only use it for 9 consecutive months and then they freeze if for 3 months. If you don't make a payment after 32 days it will automatically take the payment from your account regardless if the money is in there or not. Also putting a freeze on your account won't stop it from pulling since it's all US Bank.
