I also have a loan with DJR Group. I have overpaid by $280.00 and they are giving me a hrd time in giving me a refund. I finally went to my bank and had the pyament for them revoked. This was on 3/12 (Friday) and as of today (3/18) I have not heard from them. I also reported a complaint with the BBB and the FTC but all I get from them is that my complaint has been referred to the company and I have to wait by a certain date for DJR to respond.
I live in New York State and just found out awhile back that payday loans are illegal in New York but it doesn't seem matter to the company
I also have a payday loan with Paycheck Today and I pay $60.00 on a $200.00 loan. Legally I only owe $20.00.
Can anybody give me any advice on what I should do next? Thanks.

Getting refund from an illegal payday lender can be difficult. But, you may keep your fingers crossed.

Meanwhile, I'd suggest you to write to them stating that they should consider the loan as 'paid in full' and you are withholding all their rights of debiting your account further. You can check out the following link about dealing with illegal payday lenders.

Did you just have the one automatic debit (or check) revoked? If it were me, I'd close the bank account altogether. These companies operate under several different names and if the account is still open it's possible they'll try to get your money under another name. (check the "sticky" on this site re. closing bank accounts)
