Hello, I have another PDL I am trying to clear up. It is with Dr. Cash (Internet Loan). I live in TX. I printed a copy of the loan agreement from the website and it states "This lender is licensed and examined by the State of Texas..." but the Office of the Consumer Credit Commissioner shows:

Master Licensee: DRCASH INC
DBA Operating Name: DRCASH.COM

License - Number: 51116
Type: Regulated Loan
Date: 10/31/2007
Status: Canceled

Location - Address: 991 S MAIN
City: LOGAN State: UT Zip: 84321

Does this mean they are lending illegally? My loan will be in default once they try to take the payment out of my now closed account this Friday. I have paid them A LOT of money over the last two years. Should I send the ACH revocation, request a refund, and that's it?

I just want to be sure to take the right steps. I want to make sure I do this right to be done with this for good. Thank you!!

Sorry, me again. I think I just confused myself. I have copies of the contracts which shows amount borrowed, finance charge, and total of payments (the amount I will have paid after I have made all payments as scheduled) along with estimates of all payments deducted from my bank account to extend the loan. Should the extension fees have been applied to the principal?

Can someone help me make sense of the license status in conjunction with the PDL laws for Texas? I want to get an email to them ASAP with plans for a payment arrangement if there is no overpayment but I am not sure how to tell them the loans are paid in full based on the TX law.

Thank you!

I guess this question wasn't very interesting to anyone. LOL! But I am posting the resolution just in case it will help someone. I sent an email last night using some of the sample ACH revocation letters I've found in other posts and I got a response back this afternoon. They claim that I had bad information concerning the status of their license and told me that since I have been a good customer, they have considered my account paid in full. I didn't ask them to do that but I did emphasize that I believe I have overpaid. I'll take this as a blessing.
