I have a PDL out with ZIP19.com but its not the first one I have taken. As soon as you pay it off you can take out another which is unfortunately what I have done several times and then each time they increase the amount that you can take. When I was trying to find some info on them I believe I found that they are in Malta and I am in IL where I do not see that they are licensed. I have closed my account now and am in the process of putting together letters/emails but just have the feeling they may be trouble. Has anyone dealt with them before?


Zip 19 is offshore and illegal. Follow the link in my signature line for the correct information on how to deal with them. Follow it completely and you will not have any problems. They will probably email you BS letter telling you blah blah blah, but the bottom line is that they are not licensed.

Search the forum for other peoples experience with them.

Thanks - I did send them the letter but they sent me to collections and now I have ecare calling. I spoke to them once stating that i had submitted the letter to zip19.com. The agent stated that they would no longer deal with me I would have to go through them and requested that I fax her the same letter which I did. To be honest, I have not answered her calls since I sent the letter. I paid over $2450 on $2000 loans and they are not "willing" to apply the interest from the loans to my account. I don't really want to argue with this person on the phone.

Send this to the CA via certified mail, return receipt requested.

Dear Collection Agency

I hereby demand that you cease and desist any and all contact with me and anyone associated with me in regards to account # _____________ original creditor Zip 19. Your client is located in Malta and has no license in my state or any state in the US. Thus the debt you are collecting on is invalid, the contract being unenforceable.
