A couple of weeks ago i found this site and have since used the information I received to get out of my PDL nightmare. I closed my account yesterday, with the bank mgr who assured me that nothing would re-open it. He also got their ACH department on the phone who assured me of the same thing. I have emailed letters to those companies i had addresses for but there are still a few I have no idea how to contact. The bank mgr said that when the PDL's start calling because the account is closed I should advise them that before they say anything, this call is being recorded by a 3rd party and that will scare them. Any thoughts on this? If anyone has email/fax/physical addresses for the following companies I would appreciate the help. Thank you.

Glad to hear you closed your account. That was the right first step. Yes, I totally agree that when they start calling and they WILL tell them that this call is being recorded. I have said that a few times and believe me they dont like to hear that. They will get very nasty and threaten you with all kinds of stuff. Dont panic! It is a scare tactic. I'm a single mom as well and they tried all kinds of stuff on me to get me to pay...Even threaten to have me arrested...They CAN NOT do that....Just be strong and let us know if you need any other help....
