Has anyone settled with Eastside Lenders?

lovee, Eastside is a **** to deal with. They will drag you on forever with their bull crap. Horrible. They can't access your money, correct? Have you filed complaints on them with the BBB, the FTC, and your state AG yet? They will try to hang on forever like the leeches that they are; however, if you start putting your complaints in, the government agencies will contact them on your behalf. Have you filed any complaints yet?

Yes, I closed my bank account. I sent them a letter with the BBB, FTC and AG cc'd but haven't sent the letters to them yet because I am not exactly sure what department to send them to and what to say...I know it sounds lame, but I just started this and thought it would be best to get the letters to the PDL first. Thanks for your help!

lovee, you can file your BBB and FTC complaints right on line. Quick and easy. Some states you can file with the AG on line; however, not all. For instance, in my state, I had to download the complaint form and mail it in to them. You need to get these complaints in. This way they can be working on them at the same time you are. Eastside will not let go easily. They're like a damm parasite! They'll tell you everything under the sun (and it's not true) then eventually you get calls from "another company" (who they claim is collections, but's it's STILL them). They are insane. And don't let your guard down with them. They were still after me like crazy MONTHS later. They never did respond to my complaints, but at least I know they were addressed by the agencies and I have hard documentation of everything. I think it's Centrinix (something like that) that they use saying it's their "collections". It's THEM. :evil:

I never got a PIF from them. Shoot no! They are so difficult to deal with. The BBB will contact them via email in like a day or two and Eastside will have like 14 days (usually) to respond to them. The FTC will just "take your information", but it's good to file with them so they can keep track of all the complaints. Your state AG will get on it (it takes them a little longer) and send letters out on your behalf. Usually the state AG letters help out, but in the case of Eastside, they just never responded to anyone. I can laugh about it now, but man, did they ever get on my last nerve! I just haven't heard from them again after months of their sneakiness and evilness.
