I received a call from this collection agency yesterday afternoon. They called me at work! Anyways, as stated in a previous post, they said they are representing East Side Lenders. I took out a loan from East Side Lenders back in October 2009 for $300, plus the $90 fee; total $390. Through roll-overs and paydowns I paid them $607.50. Alliance is stating that I owe $410.

I just received another call from them (at work) and when I told them not to call me anymore, they said "I take it you refuse to pay the debt?" I said "yes". She then said "good luck" and hung up.

Any contact information for this company so I can send them the Debt Validation Letter? I am also going to report them to the BBB and Attorney General's office. I am sick and tired of these wicked people.

The number they called me from was 630-760-1110. They just called me at work again. I just said "thank you" and hung up during her speech. Yesterday, I filed letters with their State Attorney General's Office, my Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau. I am going to call her back right now and tell them that they are not to call me at work ever again and for every call I receive I will file another complaint. I will also inform her that they will be receiving a letter (which I mailed yesterday) that they are to validate the debt they say they represent and until they do so, no further communication other than by US mail will be accepted. These people are really pissing me off. If anything, I should be getting a refund from East Side Lenders.

I did file with my BBB and my AG's office. I did not file with the FTC, but I will. I will also send the illegal lender letter to East Side Lenders and see where that goes.

I contacted Alliance Asset Management about 5 minutes ago and told them to take my work number off of their call list. The first thing they asked for was my SS# which I told her I would not supply. She then said that if I don't settle with them, then it will cost me more in the end and "good luck". I told her "good luck" because I filed a complaint with their State Attorney General's Office and will file another one as she just threatened me. Then she got really pissed and hung up on me. I am fed up with this collection agency. A legitimate collection agency will send out a letter of collections and will work with you. I know this because I received one locally a while back for a medical bill and have made payment arrangements with them. Alliance can go to he**.
