Ok I closed my bank account account on 10/27 with hard hold and all and sent out my revoking ACH withdrawal e-mails as advised. I didn't realize what kind of situation I had until I went through my bank statements to cross reference PDL deposits and withdrawals! Just like everyone else I had to keep borrowing from one to pay another thinking my situation was going to change! There were about 16 different companies involved!Half of them shouldn't even bother replying back since they have been paid way more than the original loan's values! Anyway the first to respond so far were VC FUNDING(PD 600.00 on 500.00 loan)-LOANSHOP ONLINE(pd 300.00 on 500.00)and EASTSIDE LENDERS(PD 180.00 ON 600.00)All three were civil - with Loanshop actually the nicest. I filed complaints with my AG here in MI on the three so far and am in the process of continuing my journey. I think I still might have to go with an consolidation program but I am not sure which one to use and have posted looking for advise on the matter in another thread-hopefully I can get some input. Thanks for listening and keep your head up!

ED, I had a loan Eastside Lenders (ESL) for $300. I made one extension payment of $90 and the next ACH they tried was returned NFS. A few months later the loan was sold to Smith Haynes and Watson. My $300 loan was not $705. I live in Ohio and out of state internet loans are illegal. I filed a complaint with the Ohio AG and Delaware BBB. About three weeks later the BBB forwarded me a letter they received from ESL and the accepted my offer of $300 + 2 NFS fees for a total of $350. Go to the Delaware BBB site and look up ESL, they are all over the place.

I live in Ohio and have 5 loans (501, 500, 500, 475, 316) Checksmart, Ace, Advance America, Cashsmart, Money Stop). I can't afford this and my other bills are going by the wayside. I would pay them in installments, but they say they can't do this. If I stop payment on the checks, can they do ACH debits and I'll pay them in installments even if it's in collections? I asked my bank about closing/reopening another account and they said they would close it on a pending basis for 30 days to see if anything comes in. How can I stop payment and still keep them from converting the paper checks to e-checks (ACH) so that I can make arrangements to pay them. I'm not trying to get out of paying, I just can't keep going like this every payday. I'm running from one to the other and reloaning just to exist and then things are going unpaid. Help! I know I'm not the only one in this predicament, but I need advice.
