Tell them you are working on an article about their business ethics and are considering submitting it to 'The Consumerist". And follow through. If you know of any of Consumer blogs out there you might also want to consider submitting your article to them also. Maybe you can strike up a deal with Eastside Lenders, not submitting article for refund?

They will hear from all of the agencies you filed complaints with and they have to respond to your complaint that is why they will not discuss this with you any further. Once, they have responded to your complaints, you will hear back from each of the agencies.

I would use every single resource available to encourage your state attorney general to pursue a restraint, including respectable and reputable organizations.
