I have filed complaints with the FTC, Missouri AG, Delaware BBB, Delaware Bank Commissioner aganist Eastside Lenders. I have gotten confirmations from all of them. I took at loan from them fro $1000 and paid back $2450. I have demanded a refund. EL will not respond to any emails so today I called them, she confirmed that yes they have received complaints in their office and "is not a liberty to discuss with me any futher". Do any of the experts out here any further advise for me to follow to pursue getting a refund?? Thank you !!

It sounds like you have them a little rattled!

Tell them you are working on an article about their business ethics and are considering submitting it to 'The Consumerist". And follow through. If you know of any of Consumer blogs out there you might also want to consider submitting your article to them also. Maybe you can strike up a deal with Eastside Lenders, not submitting article for refund?

Really, all you can do is keep sending your demand letter to them, fill up their email with your letter. They will hear from all of the agencies you filed complaints with and they have to respond to your complaint that is why they will not discuss this with you any further. Once, they have responded to your complaints, you will hear back from each of the agencies.

I just came across an EXCELLENT piece of amo I will be sending to them now. Looks like they are getting some PRESS lately. Maybe me writting a blog article will push them to give me my refund!! Also make sure they know you are posting the article on a website that generates tons of traffic. another idea is tell them you are recommending your state attorney general to place a desist and refrain order on them. I would use every single resource available to encourage your state attorney general to pursue a restraint, including respectable and reputable organizations.
