Do I need to send the collection company both the e-mail that I sent them and a det validity letter? Also is cash call and quick loans legal in california? I'm not sure if I should continue to pay their high interest or try to settle. Please advise me. Thank you.

You don't need to send a copy of the email you received along with the DV letter. As far as Quick Cash is concerned, I think they are licensed lenders in CA but I could be wrong. Cross check with the state finance department. As for CashCall, was the actual loan originated by Western Sky and then handed over to CashCall? Did you directly borrow from CashCall?
