Overpayment of Pay Day Loans

First I want to say that I have every intention of paying back any payday loans that I have. The question I have is regarding the ones that I have paid 2 times and in one case 3 times the amount of the original loans. I have tried to contact them to make arrangements to pay the principle they seem to have never recieved my phone calls or emails. Do I have any recourse against these people. I never thought I would be in this situation but I am and I need some advise on how to end this nightmare. It has been suggested that I close my checking account but I am afraid that will get me in more trouble. Please help. I live in the state of Washington. Thank you.
