Someone help me! I'm trying to point a guest in the right direction to where he/she can find examples of letters to send to his/her pdl's. Letters revoking debit authorization, revoking any wage assignments, only contact via email or USPS, state laws, etc. Where are they now? I'm lost? Is there still a link to them? Please, please help me! :D

morning, thank you for rescuing me! I found the "link" though after searching! Lord! I'm a creature of habit. Change things around on me and I'm a lost puppy! There's a little "link" thing at the top of the site page that says do it yourself. I clicked on it for the hell of it and viola! There are a bunch of sample letters! Duh! I do thank you for being the ONLY one that responded to my plea! I know who my friends are!

tweety, it's at the top of the page. Little bitty tabs you can click on. It says "do it yourself". Click on that and it'll take you there. :D

When I did mine, I kind of took a little from each, whatever looked good. As long as you get a part that says revoking authorization I think your good. Maybe I'll send you a PM showing an example of mine.... Not sure if it is a good one though, as they've ignored it! But I heard they pretty much will no matter what and the only way to get them to stop taking money out of an account is to close it or put a block on all debits. And even then they keep trying, they just don't get anything from it!

jazz, take parts from each letter. Just be sure to include everything that needs to be included. All you have to state honestly regarding revoking their debit authorization is just that. "I am revoking your debit authorization of my bank account in any way by your company, your partners, or any of your affiliates." Basically, it's just saying what you want to say. And revoke any wage assignment you may have signed. "I also revoke any wage assignment that I may or may not have signed with your company." Pretty straight forward and to the point. If you have any questions, just post. :D

Honestly I think I just took sample letter 9 (request to stop contact) and then added the revoking authorization line that Cannr stated above. I also added in the Federal Law numbers to make it look fancy, because that is the law that allows you to revoke those automatic ach debits, and I also added my state law numbers when I told them they were not licensed.
