Advance Me Today

Thank you for your response. I am not a citizen of St. Vincent. I contacted the Michigan Office Of Banking and they advised me that you are un-licensed in the State Of Michigan. This voids the contract, Loan Agreement. Furthermore, she stated all Michigan residents are subject to Michigan laws regarding loans, regardless of where the loan originated. I have also contacted The Michgan Attorney General's Office.
At this time I am requesting a return email acknowledging that my loan has been paid in full. Also, I would like a refund of the $150.00 overpayment. A refund check of $150.00 should be mailed to me at the address listed below. Failure to do so will result in legal action against your company.
Please respond to this email with acknowledgment that my account has been satisfied in full. Details of when I can expect the refund check, as discussed above, should also be included in the email.
They have not responded to this email as of yet.
Advance Me Today is an
Advance Me Today is an illegal lender. You owe nothing more than the principal. You have done the right thing by asking them for the refund. But it depends on their discretion whether or not they will return back your money. In this case you have nothing to do. Close down your old bank account and open a new one to stop debiting money from your bank account.
A refund is unlikely.
A refund is unlikely. Hopefully you have already revoked ACH authorization and voluntary wage assignment, if any.You just need to be persistent with your demands for a PIF and refund. In the meantime, file complaints against them with the AG and the FTC.
never resolved
I deallt with them for a LONG time and never received a PIF letter. I even sent them over a copy of the desist and refrain order they were served in CA (which is where i live) and they still didn't budge. I've never contacted them any more and they haven't contacted me either. I over paid them BIG TIME so in my final email to them I said to consider the loan paid in full with the over charges they owed me.
Glad to hear that things are
Glad to hear that things are working out for you. Hopefully, AMT will just go away when they realize you are not paying them anything more.
Worst of all..
I started the process 2 months ago and have 4 out of 5 resolved, either PIF letters or payment plans. Of course AMT is the 5th one that won't budge. I have filed complaints with every 3 letter agency, I even received a letter from our AG saying that AMT was on their target list as scammers and I sent that to AMT and all I got was a call from the same rude guy telling me to call him back by end of day or drastic measures will be taken. I don't think I will ever get a PIF from them, I over paid about $70, I am just hoping sooner or later they go away.
