I live in Ohio and I have 3 payday loans currently.

National Check Cashers
Original loan $800
$912.50 is due on the 24th

Express Payroll Advance
Original loan $500
$575 is due on the 25th

Cashland
Original loan $600
$687.50 is due today, but I don't have the money so it is going to be delinquent.

I have been doing this off and on for 3 years and I have to stop the cycle. I can't take it anymore. I make enough that I can afford my monthly bills but not with the payday loans. I have to get out of this. I really hope they pass the new Ohio law and get rid of these businesses. :(

Shannon you need to get into Cashland today, you could evoke the EPP (extended payment plan) with them which means you will make an interest payment today, then they will set you up on a payment plan to pay these in four (4) equal payments on each payday. Cashland is pretty good about working with you as long as you don't ignore them. I'm not 100% postive that you can still evoke the EPP since your payment is due today, but I think you can (give them a call and ask). As far as the others, I'm pretty sure they are also members of the CFSA, which means they can also offer you the EPP, but you must ask for it BEFORE you default. I hope this helps.

I called them because I had to work late and couldn't get in there before they closed and they told me the checks were already in the deposit on its way to the bank. I don't think they were telling me the truth because there have been times I went in the day after my loan was due and they let me pay it off and gave me my checks back. Since I am a frequent loaner of this place, I know some of the employees and I think this was a new employee. I am going to call them again today and talk to a manager and see what they tell me before I call the collections department. Technically, my checks shouldn't be deposited until today so hopefully I can talk to a manager before they checks actually get deposited.
