What state are you in? They didn't actually say they would send someone to the hospital did they? I've seen some low actions by pdl's but that has GOT to be the lowest.

Hiya Mis, I am going to post the laws for Ohio. I'm not so sure that reloaning is such a good idea, you would definitely be better off asking for the EPP (extended payment plan), if you don't, you're going to be stuck in the same situation two weeks from now, and will be paying interest anyhow. With the EPP plan, you will also be paying interest upon envoking the EPP, then 4 equal payments with the first one falling on your next payday, and the last three on each consecutive payday afterwards. Check into Cash is a member of the CFSA, this means they must offer you the EPP plan upon request, however, you must ask for it at least one day prior to your due date. If any of the other store fronts are members of the CFSA, you may ask for the EPP plan from them also.

they did say they would send someone to hospital, and even to my home if needed. She acts like this would be doing me a favor. I went in and paid it but had to reborrow on sat took amount down $50 though. I asked for epp they said I did not qualify yet. I worked payment out with cashland and first american. worried about express and checksmart, I havent heard any more from them though but Im sure they didn't forget, but the last time I talked to someone at store she said they had alot of people go bad with them. someone told me that a check cashing place was only aloud to file 12 lawsuits per year is that true.

i don't know about the lawsuit part, but as long as you are not in default they have to allow you the EPP.i would speak to the manager first.they have to give you that option, but you have to request it.don't let some grunt tell you different.

They actually don't have to allow you to do an EPP. In some states it's not allowed, and with Ohio's law in limbo, it's entirely possible that many lenders are not offering EPP's there.

i was under the impression that as CFSA members they had to give that option.
