I am having some trouble with Express Payroll. I live in Ohio and I have contracted Town & Country to consolidate my payday loans. The lady from Express Payroll is stating that they are going to file charges with the State of Ohio for passing bad checks and that they are going to contact my payroll department. I am just wondering if anyone has dealt with them through Town & Country and what the end results were. I do know that Town & Country has sent them a payment back on the 21st of May and that it has not been returned by Express Payroll. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

First of all, in the state of OH it is not considered passing a bad check. Is this an internet PDL? If so, contact our Attorney general, they were very helpful to me in my situation regarding pdls.
Next, send a letter to your payroll dept, tell them that a company may contact them and fraudulantly try to take your paycheck and that unless they have a legitimiate court order, then they may not do so. Voluntary wage assignments are ILLEGAL in the state of OH.

Express Payroll is a storefront lender. They have an affiliation with Checksmart. They are both under Buckeye Check Cashers. I have not heard any more from Checksmart, though they did harrass me a lot in the beginning. The lady at Express Payroll is extremely harrassing and threatening. I am not sure why she is being such a pain. I know that she wants the money and I am trying to repay it. I just wanted to know if anyone has dealt with them personally.

Ok well call them and make payment arragnments...OH state law allows for that and they are bound by the law in OH.
Tell her you know the laws and if they refuse to abide by them you will contact the Attorney General and have their company investigated!

I had pdl with Checksmart and Express and I'm currently working with T&C. I haven't heard from Express when my deadline was up but Checksmart is sending me to a mediation hearing next week.

i've read info on this town & country associates?????
how can i contact them and how do they work?
do any dept consolidators work with payday loans?

thanks for anything you can do with info on t&c
