Lost and confused. I want to eliminate all my pay day loans but not sure what is the best plan to start. I have loans with

PLS
Check N Go
Check into Cash
Cash Tyme
EZ Money

All are in WI

I have not paid on the loans in a month, What are the steps for contacting the corp office and getting good documentation going.

I also have one loan with Check N Cash that went to small claims court. How do I keep them all moving in the right direction with only a small amount of money to work with. Thought about denstination debt solution or even a lender that wants me to send money for a loan- non US based????

First DO NOT send in ANY money for a loan. You will lose it and not get anything in return!!!!

Second, you need to contact the lenders and get the information on what they do about defaulted loans. Check n Go will send you to collections and then you can set up payment arrangements with the collection agency. That is the only one on your list that I have delt with. We had 2 loans with them and was paying $50 a month on each loan ($100 total) and we owed them over $2000 total.

But you can get the corp. office info from the storefront. Then call and see what kind of arrangements you can make with them. If you have any problems with them not working with you, you can always get help from the Wisconsin department of financial institutions. I believe it is widfi.org and they have forms you can fill out right on the website. But try calling and talking with the store manager first. Then if they won't help get the corp. info and call them.

You may also want to check into chapter 128. It is a way to pay off the loans in monthly payments and is only offered in WI. It is like a debt consolidation but cheaper. Google WI chapter 128.
