I received a letter from Farrell Law Group regarding debt payment plan for Loan Point USA. I have already paid the principle plus some over this. Is this group legitimate? Is Loan Point legitimate in Oklahoma. Thanks.

since neither farrell law,or loan point is legal in OK you use any address to send a DV(debt validation)letter.send it certified mail return receipt.then use the info you have in the letter you got to file AG complaints against farrell as again not legit at all,and neither is loanpoint.you say you paid the principle in fees.then you owe them nothing.send the letter, file the complaint as farrell loves to illegaly threaten.be proactive on this.

If you have already paid off the debt in full, then you're not liable for paying off the loan again. You should send a copy of the documents regarding the loan payments to Farrell Law Group and inform them that the debt has been paid off. You should ask them to not contact you any further. You might even send a cease and desist letter regarding the same.
