I sent Geneva roth and email telling them their loans in the state of Michigan were illegal and I received a call and was just told by Geneva roth that they are licensed under Utah law and since I came to them this was an unsolicited loan and the terms of there contract stand and I need to pay what I owe and if I want to send them $260 (the original loan) to pay off the loan I can do so other than that they will continue to charge my checking account an extension fee. He told me the payments I made don't matter because they were only extension fees. what should I do now?

that is what I originally told them that I had paid $270 and I only owed them $30. I am going to send them the $30, if I can get a mailing address and make a note of it. Thank you.

Maybe we should file a complaint with OK AG. USFastcash owes me $225. I filed complaint with OH AG and that did not help get me a refund. I think Ohio is too busy with other complaints, i.e. foreclsures, to care too much about internet pdls. Mailing address in Miami OK is on an Indian Reservation. I think someone is renting area just like they rent banks. Just thinking out loud.

your thought is right, they do pay to have that
address in conjunction with the reservation.
it makes the complaints slower to resolve, but
alot of us me included stuck with it and won
in the end.

Could one assume that even though multiple PDLs have the same address, they could be just "renting" the address from the reservation for whatever reason? I was going on the premise that the same address meant the same company? If I am reading your post correctly that is not the case.

not exactly,as far as i know.MTE is the only pdl
that uses that guise.some overseas pdl's have
a p.o. box in the states but there real address
is in the UK,IRELAND,OR MALTA.so as far as the
indian reservation goes,i think MTE is the only one.

Then I would have to recommend that people do not pm you for advice.

To all the members out here: When you post on the forum, you will get many opinions. You can decide for yourself what is right and what will work best for your situation. But if you get advice through pm's, if it's wrong, there is no counter balance to it. You could make your situation much worse then it already is. At least if you get wrong advice on the forums, it will be corrected . . . . .

I guess that would be your perogative and your opinion. I do agree, and I have stated it several times, that using this forum will give you tons of information. One must choose for themselves what they will use and what they will disregard. However, that is my point. If I don't agree with an opinion or advice, I move along. I don't argue the point, I respect what the poster had to say and I respect the poster themselves for taking the time to share. I had something to say and I said it. I really didn't need to be put down for believing what I did. There are many people on here who have "alternate" views and perspectives. It doesn't make then right or wrong, just different. They also offer different solutions. I have taken what I have read, filtered through it, decided who I would believe in and went from there. When I came here in early February I had 5 PDLs. Through the wisdom and advice on this board, I have been able to resolve 4 of them at the original amount of the loan, and as of today one below what they deposited into my account. And that my friend, was with the advice of James. I have read each and every one of James' posts, I have read and commented on his own board and I decided to "try it his way". I used his info and within less than 48 hours I have received an email from UsFastCash stating the following:

Your account is closed, your balance zero.

Subject: Intercept EFT/authorization revocation

Attached is a copy of a recent communication which has been sent to Intercept EFT regarding my account and your continued attempts to collect on an illegal loan. At this point in time, I feel that it is necessary to go beyond the boundaries of your organization to assist me in getting this resolved. I have also sent a copy of this communication to Bremer Bank, identified as the originator of the funding source. They have been notified via telephone that the communication/complaint is in the process of being delivered to their financial institution. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I have recently spoken with your organization regarding an ACH/EFT revocation with USFastCash. I have also been in contact with Bremer Bank, which is the originator or their loans. I believe I spoke with Cindy. She was extremely helpful, sending an email to UsFastCash, as we spoke. I have not heard from them, as she indicated I would but that in it self is not a concern. They never answer requests. However, I have sent them an authorization revocation but they do not seem to be honoring that request. According to their website, they have a payment scheduled for April 30, 2008, in the amount of $90.00 I am now revoking any ACH/EFT withdrawals generated by UsFastCash, directly to you, as the third party processor. Please see the attached letter which has been sent to them repeatedly. Thank you for all your help.

So,in a nutshell, I hit them where they live and I suggest that anyone dealing with USFastCash do the same. Vist James' website, take his advice. I do believe that one by one, these theifs will be brought down to their knees. This is not heresay, I have given the proof that what I say is an effective route to stopping these slugs in their tracts. I waited to bring this to the attention of the board for just that reason. . . . I too needed proof of what I was saying. I just expect to get it so quickly. Tomorrow I am moving on to Star Advance. With just one PDL left I now have the time and the energy to hit them where they live as well. Good luck to all. And once again, many thanks to James.

Goudah. . .thanks for the input. I think the recommendation has already been made. Please know that I am not an argumentative person, I just felt that the tone of the posts were getting personal. Like I said, I have have received tons of info from everyone here and I am hoping that I too am a contributing member of this community. Please take the time to read between the lines as there is also a wealth of information there.

I know you aren't argumentative - My point is that I like to see proof - The suggestion was made, but no proof was shown of it's effectivness until now. I can't on good consience recommend something I don't know will work. I'm happy to see that this is a viable avenue - And that it can offer fast results.

Well Shazzers, it worked for me. Cutting them off at the source does make sense cuz if they don't have funding or processing how can they do business? I would suggest that EVERYONE on here dealing with PDLs try to find out who processes, and the banks that handle their accounts and go from there. All I can say is, after I sent that email off to UFC, I had the email in my mailbox with no questions asked in about 31 hours. In my opinion that speaks volumes as to hitting just the right nerve, if you will.

You are correct. I have been able to obtain the info by a) reading James posts, b) doing an internet search, and c) confirming the info with my own bank, who has been a great help with this. It was actually pretty straight forward. I called Intercept EFT, they confirmed they processed for UsFastCash and ameriloan (I had loans out with both), I told them what was going on and they emailed UFC while I was on the phone. I then sent an email to UFC with a copy of the info I sent off to Intercept EFT and Bremer Bank. Today I got an email from UFC stating that my account was closed and had a zero balance.

The bank had the information as the originator of the loan. Give your bank a call and ask them for the processor of the ACH/EFT from EDollarsDirect. I also checked my bank statements so I had a date to give them so they wouldn't have to spend time trying to locate it. As noted, I did speak with Bremer and made them aware of the illegal status in New York State. I sent all the info over to UFC and that is when I got a response. You have nothing to lose by trying this route but I think UFC has a whole bunch to lose if you do. Keep us posted.

I am going to try to follow the route that was mentioned and read the posts. I haven't started getting those collection calls that they said I would start getting imediately. Maybe I can use the same methods with my other pay day loans. You guys are great thanks for providing so much useful information. :D

Call 1-800-378-3328. Ask for the Processing Department. Have your bank statement ready. Revoke authorization and ask them to contact their client via email. Explain what you are going through and also that it is illegal. Email them and the processor requesting your loan be written off. The processor will be able to resolve your bank account to ANY payday lenders that use them. Revoke authorization with any others that may be there as well.

Call Intercept EFT immediately. I believe the number listed above is the correct number for them. They sent an email to UFC while I was on the phone with them. I then sent an email to UFC identifying the fact that I did so and in about 31 hours I received a short, sweet, and to the point email that my account was closed and had a zero balance. I also called Bremer Bank to file a complaint as well. (Bremer was the bank shown as the originator at my own bank). Good luck. Keep us posted.

no luck at intercept they told me it sounds like you need to contact your bank, my bank won't close my account so it is now $2000 overdrawn. You know something else that is funny you are not supposed to have more than one pay day loan out at a time and these people know that you have more than one because they are collecting for several places, would that be considered a breach of contract on there part? just curious. if intercept won't help me what can I do?
