Hi there I am having a bit of trouble. I took out some loans back in April and havnt been able to pay more then a couple of deferments on the following loans

*Us Fast Cash loan amout 250 owe now 452
*Impact Cash owe them 375 (is willing to work with me)
*3b financial - not sure of the balance
*little loan shoppe - not sure of the balance (is willing to work with me)
*Fast Money 911 - not sure of the balance
*One Click Cash owe them 550

I dont know what to do I am having some financial problems right now and they dont look to be clearing up till around mid January Beginning of Feb. What can I do. I live in California

to truly help with this i do need to know the following

how much borrowed from each pdl
how much debited by each pdl
what state are you in.

seeing as they are all internet i'm guessing these are not legal, but that will be determined by your state.if you got these in april,my guess would be you are done and owe nothing to any of them.i would close your bank account and open a new one.if you could provide the info i requested we can and will help you.

I hope the information below will help you. :)
You are only obligated to pay back the principal amount you borrowed from an unlicensed/illegal Internet Payday Lender.
What should you do?
Close your account asap, if you are unable to close your account, go into your bank and ask to speak with the Branch Manager, tell him/her you need a hard debit block placed on your account immediately! Explain that you are revoking ACH authorizations from unlicensed/illegal companies, and have learned these companies are notorious for ignoring revocation, therefore it is important to BLOCK any withdrawal attempts on your account to protect your interest. This is your privilege, do not accept no for an answer. The following link will provide you important information regarding closing accounts. CLICK HERE

What next?
AFTER your account is secure send each pdl (the unlicensed and illegal) an email similar to THIS (please scroll down to locate letter template). Tailor this letter to your needs, and try to write it with the same basic concept in your own words. You will need to research and locate email addresses/physical addresses if you don't already have them, I suggest that you type the name of the pdl (example: "oneclickcash address") in the search box in the upper right hand corner of this forum. You may also search for addresses HERE at the Better Business Bureau.

File complaints: Most of the time, you can file a complaint online with the following, I encourage you to follow through with doing so, you will need to search the Internet for your state Attorney General's website, however, here are links to file complaints for the FTC, Online complaints: Federal Trade Commission., and the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU.

Keep in mind that you may not receive a response for days, or even weeks, or, you may receive harassing and threatening phone calls. I have found the best way to deal with this is not to respond or reply, simply hang up.

Side note: If you have paid an illegal/unlicensed payday lender above and beyond the principal amount you borrowed, it might be a good idea to demand a refund and a paid in full letter/receipt. You may or may not get one or both. It still doesn't hurt to include that tidbit in your letter. :)
I have an 'account' on my CR. The account was 'reported' from a CA concerning a PDL. Now......if PDL's are illegal in MOST states, how can a CA be collecting on it? Let-alone report the debt to the CB's? What can I do to remove this item, if anything? I'm starting to 'work' on my CR now. I had a few accounts that the SOL expired on them. I 'disputed' the items that were SOL expired. I don't know if that will do any good...but, I'll see what happens. However......if the SOL did expire, will the debt STILL be on my CR for 7-10 years?

Hi jelly,

Now its a waiting game, once the pdl's get your email it may take a few days or more, but you will start getting phone calls and emails. When they call you they will try & threaten you and tell you that their state's law's trump yours, this isn't the case. If you have any questions once they start calling, please let us know. We are here to help and may people have been through the same situation...

If they get you on the phone, tell them they are illegal and you are recording their calls to turn over to your AG's office. When I was getting calls I let them talk first and then went right at them with their illegal status and asked for their license number to lend and then added I am recording this call. They have never called me back.
