I've been reviewing a number of sites and banks to see if fees can be charged when revoking an ACH authorization. Depending on the bank fees can be charged.

I've seen a few banks that do not speak of fees for ACH revoke, but clearly speak about stop payment fees. I've also seen a few banks that have revised their stop payment request form to now include an ACH revoke request. On those forms the bank clearly states that fees will be charged.

Although I believe we shouldn't have to pay any fees, one should be prepared to do so depending on your bank.
