Quick Question

I've been reading around this forums and see lots of complaints about H & P Assoc. calling and threating jail if they don't receive and payment of some amount by the end of the day, and sadly this did happen to me, my girlfriend answered the first call and they told her if they didn't receive payment by 5pm and at 8am the next morning the case would be handed to the court in Va and I would be going to jail.
Anyway...
I want to file complaints with the state AG and FTC, my questions since I have to call or mail (no email listed) my complaint to the AG in Georgia is there anything besides the basic information of the call that I need to send? Also I've read that some state laws do allow for prosecution of bad debits in relation to closed checking accounts, is Virginia one of these states?, from what I've read it's not but I'd like to be sure.
Thanks
