Payday loans...can they be consolidated?

Hi. I live in Idaho and I currently have just over 5,000 in credit card debt, and also 5,000 in payday loans. Someone suggested I file bankruptcy because it would take care of the payday loans, and I consulted with an attorney who then told me to tell the loan places to cash the checks I wrote and we'd include my bank accounts in the bankruptcy--so I told the loan places to do just that. Now, after talking to some other people I think it might be better (morally, if nothing else!) to NOT file bankruptcy, but rather consolidate all my debt so I can make one monthly payment.
Are there ANY places out there that will help consolidate payday loans? Or how in the world should I go about getting these taken care of? For the past few months all I've been doing is paying off just the interest/finance fee, and I can't do that any longer because I don't have enough money left over every two weeks for food/utilities/etc.
Any suggestions?
Thank you!

There are a couple places that deal with traditional debt and payday loans.

Both places will work with payday loans.

There are also some debt consolidation companies that will help with pdls..but you have to have a certain amount of total debt to work with...I am currently with Take Charge America they have my pdls and credit cards...very happy with them they set you up with payments that fit your budget. But it will take some time. But check out those the Goudah suggests and see what's best for you.
