second what companies were these? how much was borrowed, how much was paid back?

today i went to my bank and am going to put a hard hold on these people, (for 6 months, then i have to renew)i had thought of going to a debt settlement company but now i am thinking of
trying to handle each one myself. Any advise?

i have another question, i cannot close my dda, and was toldby bank if i put a hard hold, it would tie up my debit card and checks which i cannot do but she told me i could put stop payments for 6 months onthese companies, will this help me long enough to work with them myself
