Has anyone ever worked out pymnt arrangements with Speedy Cash(store) First Delaware Bank (internet) , Check N Title(store), First Cash Pawn (store), or Star Cash Processing( online), I am in hell I went to close my checking accnt and they said I couldnt close it so now my account is well over $1000 in NSF fees and this is mainly because I had a loan with Payday One as well for $1000 and they paid it in full. I want to send ACH letters but I am lost on what to do,, and who should I speak with about my checking account and the fees, one thing I was able to do was stop my direct deposit so they were not able to take my paycheck but I want to pay this debt I am sooo consumed that I am lost. :confused::confused:

Texas follows the CSO model which allows the payday lenders to operate legally even without a license. But the CSOs must register themselves with the Secretary of State's office. You may look up their names in the following CSO link.

Check to see if these lenders are members of the CFSA (Community Financial Services Association of America) at the link below, some of them are and that means you are eligible for an extended payment plan.

I don't know why they would tell you that you CAN'T close your account? Ummmmmmm, yes you can, it's your account not theirs! All you need to do is work out a payment plan with them via the mail AFTER you close the account. Go to the bank and place a hard debit block on your account until you can get your finances under control, then you will need to contact these lenders and explain that your finances is out of control and you need to work out a payment plan with them via the mail with money orders.

You need to go into the bank and speak directly with the branch manager. Explain your situation and maybe she can get some of the charges removed, plus you really need to contact these lender (not the illegal one) and make payment arrangements via the mail with money orders.

No, close your account before you do anything, then contact the legal lenders and tell them there has been some fraudulent activity on your account which forced you to close it. Tell them you will need to make payments with money orders, don't use personal checks to make payments. If you would like a copy of a letter to send to illegal lenders CLICK HERE .
