Got a call from 'Sharon' and told her that I'd fax & send a cease and desist.

She said, "I don't care, it doesn't pertain to me, I'll keep calling...I'm getting my money."

She then called back two minutes later.

Talked to our payroll dept and they said without a court order, they'd tell PDY Loan Yes to take a long walk off a short pier.

Anyone have Sharon's fax number and mailing address?

Please help!!!

SO, I searched the phone number on the site and on the bbb...suprisingly (not really) that number came up for a number of pdl's....when I searched the bbb I got this...

Cash Net
(8006547444) P.O. Box 29729 Elkins Park, PA 19027 Loans

Global Financial
(8006547444) 303 Naamans Road Wilmington, DE 19803 Consumer Finance & Loan Co.

Global Payday Loan, LLC
(8006547444) 4001 South 700 East # 500 Salt Lake City, UT 84107 Loans

Global Payday Loan, LLC
(8006547444) PO Box 572037 Murray, UT 84157-2037 Loans

Well, I went through my pleathera of pdl information and found my stuff for PDL Yes....the numbers matched but all I could get from good ole Jen(the girl from 1st National that called me) was a fax number. I faxed my request for debt validation to that number and have not heard a peep since.....

800-887-9284... Hope this helps.

it is your call guest.i faxed some of my letters.others i mailed.sent them certified mail return receipt.whatever you feel more confident in doing.i have seen on other topics that a lot of places.collectors and the pdls themselves admit to receiving a fax by calling the person right away.check your states laws regarding recording calls.get the admission of receipt on tape.

to L.pinella,not funny troll.

Well, my credit union was doing a good job of blocking unauthorized debits from PDL Yes and Cash Transfer Centers and lo and behold, PDL Yes tried putting a check through this weekend.
I just contacted my bank and they are going to return it and credit the money back to my account.
I didn't want to do it, but they are going to close the account for me and open a new one.
It was amazing how a 350. loan jumped to 510.
I've already paid them more than I borrowed so they can pound sand for any more money from me.
All of their debits used to come out of my account as Payday-Loan-Yes and this one they tried to take out under First Nat'l Services.
What a bunck of sneaky crooks.

Tony,
I find it hard to believe that PDL Yes has anyone working there that is honest and above board.
I told them that their access to any bank account of mine wether it be an ACH debit or a check was no longer authorized and that didn't matter one bit to them. They even waited until Saturday to put it through instead of Friday as they always did.
My credit union now put a legal hold on my account for me. They have been awesome to me through this whole ordeal.

I have asked this cat "Bruce" to not call me anymore at work I am getting in trouble and he keeps calling me. Is that legal if you ask them to not call at work?
Thanks

I sent them a C&D as well as a request for debt validation.
I received nothing on the validation and last week they kept calling me every day at work.
It just got to the point where when they ask for me by name I know it's them and I don't say anything, I just hang up.
I also just filed a complaint with the PA AG's office and the FTC-let them talk to them if they want to harass someone.
Did you send them a C&D yet?
If you did and they are still calling, file a complaint.

do they have a right to come and take the entire amount owed to them all at once??? they changed their name on the account several times and then came up with first national -- who i had no idea who it was until i stumbled upon it here and the check they had made out was their own and you could hardly read what was on there.... but they said that last months check was returned and so they took the entire amount this time.... is that legal? thank you.

If it were me, I'd speak to my bank, tell them the situation, and ask them to return the check if possible.
They didn't put thru the original check you sent them but put their own check thru???
PDL Yes sent my account to National Credit Adjusters after harassing me at work for the past 3 months.
NCA sent me a letter with a dollar amount and considered that a debt validation. NOT!!!
I contacted NCA and told them I want a true debt validation, a printout of all transactions/payments on the account, as well as a copy of the license PDL Yes has to loan money in the US legally.
My 300.00 loan has grown to over 500.00
NCA is trying to collect for PDL Yes and Fast Cash who are both related.
Fast Cash solicited their loan by phone to me and I NEVER signed a contract. I want to see them try to come up with one.

I sent them a C & D letter, this is what they sent me
We are not governed by the Fair Debt Collections Practice Act (FDCPA). There for we DO NOT have to abide by the (FDCPA) laws. Stop looking for ways not to handle your responsibility.Your opinion that you have paid back more than your borrowed is just an opinion. It doesn't mean it's true. The black, and white on the loan contract is what holds true. You just can't determine that you have over paid the loan. You need to treat this loan as you do mortgage, or rent. You can't call the bank, or your landlord and say you over paid when they and we have a contract in hand. You owe our companies $1,610. We are going to get our money by any means necessary. ..... The desire not to work with a collection agency doesn't matter. Considering we are not a collection agency. Eventually both your loans will go to a collection agency, and WILL INDEED update on your credit report as two (2) bad debts. If you want a copy of the loan contracts there is a $35 document reprint fee. This fee can be paid on a Visa/Master card account. Provide me the
payment information for me to have these docs pulled. Include a fax number that I can have them sent to.

I borrowed $300 from payday loan yes & $350 from fast cash advance... not sure how that adds up to $1610 ......

In response to their email, I said, well you must be governed by some laws, and if you are not, then that by itself says you are an illegal entity in the US, so this is what they sent back.
[We are the 1st party lender. We are the company in which gave you the actual loan. WE ARE NOT A COLLECTION AGENCY. The Fair Debt Collections Practice Act (FDCPA) applies to some Ex: 3rd party collections, credit card bank collections, and even medical. That is why we do not have to abide by the (FDCPA) This is the law that the governement put into place to protect the 1st party lender. I really do want to get this matter resolved with you. There is an alternative method of payment. We can accept payment through Western Union quick collect. The $650 is due today. What time will you complete this transaction?

Interesting huh??? I also did tell them that I did file a complaint with wa dfi, bbb and consumer affiars.... now all they want is the original amount borrowed, which i have already paid.

Yes they called me too. I explained to her I was not going to pay. She said I'll take you to court. I said go ahead. I told her Florida Law 222.11 statute says that the head of household cannot get their wages garnished. She then slammed the phone down.

Just got a call from 1st National Services and felt like the guy was double talking with these ever increasing fees that he obviously didn't realize I was talling up as he spoke. Decided to google them and found this site. Thanks for saving me from making a huge mistake!

I have been dealing with them all day. I had a loan with Fastcash-Advance. I stopped payment and thought I had negotiated a settlement payoff plan for 2 payments of $175 each. Then, out of nowhere, a $590 check was put through my account. When I called today to discuss it, I was called pathetic and told that the company did to me what I did to them. I tried to calmly explain that I attempted to give prior notice about the ach revocation but that my emails were returned. He kept interrupting and was quite rude. Luckily, my bank returned the check. I think that I will have to close my account but I have a bunch of final payments coming out tomorrow so I will have to wait until Wednesday. I am almost finished with these loans and can't wait to be out of this mess.

Thank you Shazzer,

Do you aor anyone else know? I got a call from them yesterday and they left a voice mail on my work phone saying to call them by 3:30 concerning a date I would need to appear at. I was not in the office yesterday and got the message this morning. I am assuming it is for a wage garnishment. is it to lare to send the revocation letter you were talking about?????

Thanks

Now that I know it was Payday Yes I am not surprised they left such a message. Just send them the revocation letter. If they were suggesting there was a court date then they were giving you false information, you would have been notified with a summons if there were actually a court date, and there wouldn't be a court date until you first received a notice in the mail from either the original creditor or a collection agency with a mini miranda warning.

It's a ploy to scare you, ignore their bogus messages and send a revocation, but, expect more threats and harassing phone calls after you send the letter, they will threaten you with everything but demanding your first born, and it wouldn't surprise me if they requested that also. They are a ruthless and unethical company who doesn't follow the law.

So, I did a payment with Fast Cash (1st National Serv.) and we made a payment arrangement. They completely disregarded the payment arrangement and the next day went into my account and withdrew all the money. They will not return phone calls, and apparently, nobody that I need to talk to, ever works there. Amazing.

wow im glad i found this. Recently, actually today..i checked my bank account and i had a unathourized or debt transaction taken from my account in the amount of $590 and it said First National. At first i was like...i dont even know who this company is. I went to my bank and was trying to get it all settled. well today is Saturday and the check fraud claims dept. is closed til monday (go figure). so i actually have to wait til monday to get this all sorted out and to have my bank account closed. My bank told me to google this company and im glad i did cuz i never would have ran into this. (thank god!!) i told this company to refer to my debt consolidation company but they said they had to post the charge first then if it got returned back that they would call me back and i would give them my debt consolidation company info but they never called back so i figured my debt counsler had got in touch with them already. But then this happend. Now that i know what you guys are going through im glad i found this website. So do you think i will get my money back and get all this straight or is it my fault or is it too late?? I know they dont have the right to take that money out of my account! can someone please respond back to this to ease my mind a little. thanks sooo much!!

I received a call from first national regarding a loan i took out with payday loan yes. i asked for them to fax over documentation for the loan and also information on what made the amount go so high, i wanted a break down on the fees that have been added and i was told they would not do that. that it was my responsibility to have kept my papework. I was told that they were going to get a summons to get my wages granished if i did not make a payment by the 30th. Is this for real or are they just trying to scare me? I told them i could make a payment next month but was told that would be too late. This is my first loan with this company and i have not made a payment. Any info on what i am to do or if they are for real would be greatly appreciated.

A wage assignment is a voluntary letter that some PDL companies use to collect the balance on the loan after default. Not all companies use this but some ILLEGAL lenders do. The letter is usually slipped in when you are signing your loan contract docs.

The good news is that the "WA" is totally voluntary and can be revoked at anytime. It is not a court ordered wage garnishment. To revoke the "WA" simply write a revoke letter and deliver to your payroll dept and the PDL company.
