Does anyone know if Avantis is legal in the state of Florida?

Check with your state Dept of Financial Institutions or Attorney General office. They were not legal in KY -- I was able to get my account marked closed due to this. They are pretty good about responding to emails and are a member of the BBB. My advice would be to gather your facts, then submit a letter via email.

It must be a payday lender, usually there's a clause in their contract that states if you default on the loan, they can do a wage assignment, however, that wage assignment is revocable at any time. All you need to do is send them an email which states you are revoking their right to attach your wages or any of your personal accounts. Then show a copy of it to your employer. Do they go by another dba? I can't seem to find any information on them so that's a big red flag, my best guess is they aren't licensed. CLICK HERE to find out how to deal with illegal lenders.
