I finally got someone at the FL Office of Financial Regulations that would speak with me. I have posted several posts about United Cash Loans, and One Click Cash. She said that there are no legal precidents for them to follow as of this date. They are aware that these businesses are not licensed in the State of Florida, but when their investigator attempt to locate them with addresses that have been supplied to them that there is no such business. She did rave about this forum and the information that is provided, but she did say that they only way they are ever going to leave you alone is to pay them off and hope that you will get some money back eventually. She also said that the Florida Attorney Generals office referrs all complaints back to them and they are of not use what so ever!! She also said to make sure that complaints are files with the FTC as they would stand a better chance of getting them than the individual states. She also did confirm that the cases are not a criminal matter but a civil, and that yes they can take you to court with the civil, but that she didn't know how far they would go (in florida) when they would have to prove the legitimacy of their business. She also did say if you can record the calls to do that, but she was very surprised that they have told us that was fine and that they were too recording. The jerk my husband got yesterday even got nasty and threatening on the phone knowing that the call was being recorded.

Cutting to it, we have went and got a prepaid visa card from Wal-mart and are going to just pay them off and be done with them and tell them where to stick it!!
Something my husband and I talked about is why no one has ever tried to file a class action lawsuit against them?

Someone did file a class action against them in Pennsylvania two years ago. They settled the case before a class was certified and the court sealed the terms of the agreement with the consent of the parties. No idea how much they had to pay THAT guy off to get that out of him.
