I included my settlement offer in my C&D letters and no one really responded. However, I did settle with ameriloan through the BBB. I overpaid them by $585. I did not get a refund, but I am done with them.
They should start to contact you. Once they do, if you owe them

Don't let them get to you, they will try & tell you that their law's trump your state's, but that isn't the case. Have you reported the companies to the BBB, FTC or FL Attorney general? Sometimes the companies will settle through the BBB.
And for goodness sakes, don't give any of them your new bank acc

You might even get e-mails from these companies saying that "you're such a good customer," they're going to give you MORE money; but that's just one way they'll try to get your new bank info.
