Payday lending is prohibited in NC. So none of the payday lenders in your state are legal. You can get rid of the debts by paying them only the principal amount. If you have paid them more than the principal amount, then ask them for the refund. Illegal lenders won???t be able to take any legal action against you. If you have any complaints against the lenders, then contact with the North Carolina Attorney General. Their contact detail is as follows:
# Address - NC Attorney General's Office 9001 Mail Service Center Raleigh NC 27699-9001
# Phone - (919) 716-6400
