My loan is 3 years old and now the lender is calling my parents home and telling them that the FBI is involed because i wrote them a fraudulent check and it crossed state lines. Also they say they are going to sue "the pants off of me". I have no job and my husband barely makes enough to cover our current bills. I can't tell them I will make payment arrangements because I have no money. Can someone please tell me if there is anything I can do to keep from going to court.

Firstly, if it is an illegal PDL, they will not take your to the court.
Secondly, if the debt is 3 years old, then you must have made the check payment a couple of years back. If this is the case, then why are they trying to take you to the court for fraud now? It clearly indicates that they are only threatening you to recover the debt.
Now, since you are not in a position to pay back the debt, just wait and watch what steps they take because you have no other option left.
