Can a dunning letter from a CA come via e-mail or does it have to be on a printed piece of paper that comes via USPS?
I am just wondering since I received an email from Frontier Financial Group stating I owed a debt and I had like 10 days to request a detailed explanation for this debt. If I don't send them a DV request and I have to go to court, can I state that I never received a dunning letter and that is why I never asked for debt verification?

no a collection letter must be sent via snail mail.anything can happen to an email.i would respond stating you want an actual lettter iin the mail with an address.so again they must send a letter in the mail 5 days after intitial contact.now the clock is ticking.btw frontier is a bottomfeeder that loves to harrass illegaly.i count this as just that.no this doesn't count as a dunning letter.
