I don't know if you can help me.
I borrowed $400 from Ace Cash Express it's a store front in Texas. I have tried to schedule a payment plan but they won't allow me to do it. They want me to pay the entire loan and then reapply. Well, if I do that I will never get out of it. On the same letter I have asked them to stop calling me at work. This morning they called my supervisor and told her that she was from the Dallas County and that they needed to verify my employment, hours worked and my pay. My supervisor immediately called me and told me what they were asking for. The lady Ms. Packer refused to go to my voice mail and she demanded that information. I got on the phone and she told me the same thing. That she was from the Dallas County and that at 11AM this morning she was going to file a case against me. That it was out of her hands and that I needed to contact Ace and settle it before I was bagged into court. When I asked for her name and phone number so that I could verify that she was who she said, she got upset and told me "Good luck to you, you are stubborn". As soon as I got off the phone I called the recovery center for Ace... and guess who was in charge of my case? Ms. Packer!! Can they do that? Can they lie to my employer to get that information from them? Please help me!!

If it helps, I've talked to them also, but I am in South Carolina. The lady that called me about my loans was very rude and then I talked to her supervisor, or so she says it was her supervisor, I have my doubts, since she kept putting me on hold everytime I had a question. Anyway, she was no help either. Anyway, I emailed the president for Ace Cash Express, I don't know if that had anything to do with it or if I just didn't back down with the people on the phone, because I told them they could take me to court if they wanted to. Well, I got a call yesterday from a Mr. Lawyer and he accepted my payment arrangement for $50 every two weeks.
