Can these payday loan companies actually do what they are threatening to do? They are telling us they are going to garnish our wages and then they told us they are going to have us arrested if we don't pay what they are telling us we have to pay
Depends on the company, but yes they can garnish after they sue
Depends on the company, but yes they can garnish after they sue and get a judgment. Most likely they had you sign a Wage Assignment which gives them the ability to have you company pay them directy from your check before you get anything. You need to revoke your WA. As for arresting you, nope!!
