Hello Everyone

I have a few questions, I posted here a couple of weeks ago regarding my situation which I've listed at thew bottom of this post, and received lots of advice and help, which led me to close my bank account to prevent these people from removing any more money from my account.

Of course after doing so I have received numerous calls from them regarding them no longer having access to my account to steal anymore of my money. I have not taken any of the calls just allowed them to go into my voice mail. However today my payroll manager told me that someone called from PayDay2Go and requested a address and fax number to submit garnishment papers, CAN THEY DO THIS????????

MY PREVIOUS POST

I have 4 online PDL's, I am a residentof New York and came across this site trying to find info on one of the lenders.

All 4 have debited my acct today and I'm a little concerned.

MTE Financial Debited my account $90 today for a $300 loan i was given on 12/19

NLS CASHADV10 has debited my acct today and has done so every 2 wks since 10/30 for a loan of $250 so to date i have paid $304

866-742-0413 Payday2go debited my acct $75 today fro a loan of $300 on 12/18

Credit Protection Loan debited my acct $430 and $71.49 for a loan of $430 on 12/11.....Now this one I cant seem to find any information on not even a number for some strange reason which has caused me to become concerned.

If any one can please help me or give me some suggestions please let me know anything would be appreciated.

I am also from NY. No they can not garnish your salary. In order for any one to do that they need a court order. A pay day loan that is illegal in New York can not get a legal court order.
I believe that what they want to send is a wage assignment. This is something that some pdls have in their contracts. They are 100% voluntary and you can revoke it at any time.
Just say
I(name)herby revoke any wage assignments that I may have signed for you or any of your affiiates.
Give a copy to your employer as well.
Most employers know that salaries can not be touched without a court order so they will not honor it.

THE MAIN THING IS SUBMIT IT TO YOUR EMPOYER FIRST,THEN SEND IT TO THE PDL.IT'S KEY THEY GET THAT FIRST.

Yes..good advice from Paul even if the PDL hasnt gotten the notice yet.

"You are also hereby notified that I am revoking any voluntary wage assignment I may or may not have signed. I no longer authorize you, your company, or your affiliates to attach any part of my wages or contact my employer for your collection purposes."

Tay, I could not find the address when I sent my revocation letter. I e mailed it and faxed it
Their Fax Number: (240) 290-0274
They never did bother me about it. Just dend it, give a copy to your employer who probably knows not to honor it anyways. You can also speak to your employer, they usually know that these things are not legal.

I sent the fax, as well as gave a copy to payroll. Now someone just called and left a message because i refuse to take these calls at work and the guy said that they are going to go ahead and file a court order and this will cause my balance to go up and a whole bunch of other junk, lol HE WAS PISSED!!!!!!

Hum an illegal company getting a legal court order. Very funny. These people dont even have an address, so seriously i would at this point just laugh it off. We are in a way fortunate that we live in NY, because sometimes these people just fade away , knowing how illegal they are here.
