Wage Garnishment

I work and live in Texas. My company is based in Minnesota. Since my employer is in Minnesota, can a PDL garnish my wages for a defaulted loan? The company I got the loan from is Loan Shop, I don't believe they are licensed CSO in Texas. Please advise.
