geneva roth is a group of ipdl's.i see you are in NJ which means they lent to you illegaly.two questions.

how much was borrowed from gr or the d/b/a of gr
how much was debited in fees

you see since this was an illegal loan you only the amount borrowed.example: you borrow 300.00.they debit 90.00 three times.you only owe them 30.00.please look at your bank statements to answer the two questions.in the meantime file AG,AND FTC complaints against geneva roth.

the BBB is a waste of time to be honest - but it does help others who are in this battle and it helps with a paper trail.
you probably will never hear from NJ's attorney general neither.. and if you do, it will be a form letter telling you to go to the BBB, sometimes they mention the FTC. they are 100% useless, really. but it does keep a paper trail and maybe if they are flooded with complaints they will have to finally do something. it is sad because other states work great and actually help but that's NJ for you.
the FTC usually does not get back to you. they will send you a form letter but it may be months from now (the attorney general's form letter takes months, too!). their job is to collect complaints and than take action but they do not really get involved with the person making complaints.
but we still encourage complaing and filing reports.. if everyone does it, they will eventually take action.

oh, also be prepared for some of these companies to write a generic reply for the BBB. they will say you provided them with a form letter that is floating around the internet and they are right, you are wrong.. blah blah. a lot of people get frustrated and never respond but always rebuttal with the BBB or their reports will show that the companies made a reasonable effort to work with you (even though they are full of lies) but you refused.
