In April of this year I needed a PDL, After applying for it, I decided not to do it. Several days later i had a deposit in my account for 400 dollars. the bank told me that Geneva Roth did the deposit. I didn apply for a loan with geneva roth. I needed the money so I used it and fully intended on paying it back, however they debited my account before my payday causing me to lose what little i had in there an a NSF fee. They kept doing that and I had to close my account. Now they want me to pay more than what should be owed on the 400 loan. Any advice?

I am in Ohio. It should also be noted that because these people kept trying to ACH withdrawel my acount was 250 dollars overdrawn before i was able to get it closed

SAME AS THE PERSON ABOVE I APPLIED AND CHANGED MY MIND AND GENEVA ROTH PUT MONEY IN MY ACCOUNT, BUT THE FUNNY THING IS I DIDN'T KNOW. AND NOW THEY ARE CONSTANTLY TRYING TO ACH FUNDS FROM MY ACCOUNT AND THEY HAVE ME PAYING SO MANY NSF AND OVERDRAFT PAYMENTS I THINK I'M WORKING FOR THE BANK. AND I HAVE REQUESTED A STOP PAYMENT ON THEM AND THEY KEEP GETTING THROUGH.....

The reason they keep getting through is most likely because they are changing their name each time they make a withdrawal. I'm sorry to tell you this, but there is only one sure way to stop the withdrawals, and that is to close your account. If that isn't an option, then tell the bank to put a hard debit block on your account.
