PDL's keep calling my old job

I just learned from a former co-worker that my old PDL's (illegal ones) are calling. I worked for a big banking corp and was fired for my employee checking account being overdrawn- its a violation of ethics. Good news - I do have a job now and pays more than what I did at the corp place.
Anyways, I was fired back in May of 2009. I fixed my legal PDL problems back in February of 2009 when I realized I had a problem. My illegal ones that either won't work with me or I haven't been able to fix are:
Geneva Roth - I never took out a PDL with them, but I wonder if they go by another name.
Ameriloan - They never call or confirmed that they got my letter or let me know anything.
PDM - Collection agency for SGQ that doesn't call anymore but is still on my credit report. Never vaildated the debt
VIP Loan Shop - Never heard from them since letter (but maybe they are the Geneva Roth)
My question is, the person who took over my position told my friend they call her thinking its me and lying about who she is. They ask to speak to my former supervisor and they know his name. She always asks who it is that is calling and they won't give any info. They are harassing her.
The only place that calls my phone is Geneva Roth, but they do it like once a month and they say I need my attorney to call or myself otherwise within 24 hours or they are going to proceed with legal... I still have no legal proceedings with them.
Help! I don't know what to do and want to offer her something to say to them.

You can't stop them from calling, they are nothing more than criminals! Tell her to hang up immediately, the more she talks to them, the more they will call. They will tire of talking to thin air sooner rather than someone to argue with.

She can also tell them that if they don't stop, they'll file a police report for harassing phone calls. It's worked for other people on the boards, I would try it!

Wow, I worked for a large bank too and I was so scared about getting fired for letting one of my accounts charge off...I didn't have the money to clear it up at the time so they cleaned out my positve account without telling me and cleared up what they could leaving me with nothing.
Anyhow, I agree with the above...just tell her to ignore them. The more she converses with them the more they will call. Its unfortuanate that she is getting the harrassing calls, but they will move on after awhile.
I quit my banking job a few weeks ago to move to another state but I still have access to my old work voicemail because they havent' replaced me yet. I've been checking it every once and awhile and I've erased a few messages from some old PDL's. I had a lot of illegal collectors calling me so I feel for the next person who gets that number.
