Hi guys, first of all I want to thank everyone here for their help and advice. I posted a few days ago about my situation with multiple PDLs and would like to give an update: I have sent out e-mails to about half of the companies I have dealt with and have yet to get any kind of reply (other than the auto-reply that says they received my e-mail). Below is a copy of the e-mail I sent to United Cash Loans (as well as the other companies). Please let me know if I have done this correctly or if anything else is missing. Also, if any of these companies call me do I just not answer or do I answer and tell them I know they are illegal in NY and they will not be getting another cent from me? Thank you again for all of your help guys!!

In regards to application #: xxxxxxxxxx

Dear UnitedCashLoans,

It has come to my attention that payday lenders must be licensed by the state of New York in order to offer loans to its residents. Since your company has no license in my state, the loan contract I have with you is not valid. To date, I received a deposit of $300 on 6/22/12, and have had 2 withdrawals of $90 (on 7/13/12) and $390 (on 8/10/12) debited from my account ($480 total). I also received a deposit of $450 on 10/2/12 with 2 withdrawals for $135 each on 10/26/12 and 11/9/12 ($270 total). Since I overpaid my amount borrowed for the first loan by $180 and underpaid my amount borrowed for the second loan by $180 it appears as though I have satisfied what I am LEGALLY obligated to pay back to you per NY State Law.

At this time I am requesting a return email acknowledging that my loan has been paid in full mailed to me at the address you have on file.

I am also revoking authorization for ACH withdrawals and any wage assignment I may have signed. I have given a copy of these revocations to both my bank and my employer. Any future attempts to collect funds in this manner will be blocked.
Please respond to this email with acknowledgment that my account has been satisfied in full.

Thank you for your anticipated cooperation,

xxxxxxxxxx

that is what I did printed copies of the emails, shows date sent.. and you should be getting something back showing they received.. gave copies to my banker I was working with to keep on file and also offered to send to my payroll person - they didn't feel they would need them, stated if came up to keep on file...
