Do I have to revoke ACH?

Which letter is the Revoke letter?
I posted another comment but I think it went to spam heaven because it has not posted here. I don't know whey some post get posted and some just say they need admin approval. Sos the thing is that I asked BofA when I closed the account if anything was going to be allowed through in case I forgot to change anything over to the new account. My new account is in a completely different bank now. They said no that everything would be turned away. So if I should be sending them a revocation letter which letter is that, is it the same one that I am sending the PDL with the amounts and request for refund? It does state that I am revoking ACH privileges.
If you revoke ACH
If you revoke ACH authorization and then give copies to the bank and they let a charge go through then the bank is liable is what stevebarris forgot to say... and only some banks will allow a account to reopen...when you opened the new account if it is at the same bank they made sure it is not linked in any way to the old, correct? And the old one they understand you were closing due to it being compromised correct? If have other questions please ask..
You should revoke ACH simply
You should revoke ACH simply because even if you close the account, the illegal lenders will hit your bank with debit charges which will then be returned as NSF and in turn you would rack up the $30 charges for those. If that keeps happening on multiple occasions, the bank will be forced to reopen your account upon which the debit charges would go through and drag your account into O/D. In my opinion, it is a bad situation you should avoid.
If you are worried about them
If you are worried about them reopening your old account you would want to provide them the letters -because if they did allow anything through or to reopen then they would be liable.. if you are not worried about it, then I wouldn't - If your new account is not at BofA it will not be effected in any way..
