A lady called a week ago daying she was on her way to serve my husband papers for a bad check and something else to do with an online pdl that was unpaid. She said he could be facing jail time and gave me a number to call for details and a case number. I called and talked to another lady said I could pay the debt and no charges will be filed. So I set it up, not wanting my husband to be in trouble. He got home later and said he never had a pdl with jvc or bmg, wich the second lady said was the original creditors. So I called her back and asked her to MAIL me the papers saying the debt was paid. She said they don't do that and she said they would give me my money back and just take me to court. What do I do????
