I have taken out about 10 loans from usfastcash and repaid them all and have a current loan out for 350 dollars. I have renewed it 3 times already and finally noticed that these loans are illegal in my state of massachusetts. Here is the email i sent them.

------------------------------------------------

Dear Lender, It has come to my attention that payday loans are prohibited in my state. Therefore, the loan contract that I have with you, according to my state's laws, is not enforceable. As I have taken out several loans with your company and paid back all of them on time. And have already made 3 renewal payments on this current loan. I no longer owe you any money and in fact should be due a refund. However in the interest of fairness. I am willing to accept a paid in full on my current loan. You will not be getting any more money from me from my checking account.

At this time I am revoking ACH authorization. You are no longer authorized to withdraw payments from my checking account. I am also revoking any wage assignment I may have signed. I have given a copy of these revocations to both my bank and my employer. Any future attempts to collect funds in this manner will be blocked.

I replied with:

Dear Lender,

Your loan with me is illegal as per the laws in my state. I will not be paying your company any more money. I will not be mailing any more to you and all attempts for you to take money out of my checking account will be blocked.

once again, I repeat!

At this time I am revoking ACH authorization. You are no longer authorized
to withdraw payments from my checking account. I am also revoking any wage
assignment I may have signed. I have given a copy of these revocations to
both my bank and my employer. Any future attempts to collect funds in this
manner will be blocked.

Please mark my account as paid in full.

Thanks,

Next Steps?
I have probably already overpaid them by $2,000. and i will never receive a refund from them. Take it as a lesson learned. But not im in financially restraints. Should i close my checking account?

Thanks.

Did you ever receive a paid in full from them? I have also over paid them and sent 3 emails to them requesting a PIF and they refuse to respond. Have no idea what to do next.

You probably wont get a refund. You can still ask for how long you wish to keep sending emails. It is up to you but you might want to just move on. This has happened to the best of us.
