I have a loan with paydaymobility. I took it out for $500 on February 6, 2013. I have paid back $150 bi-weekly (2/22/13, 3/8/13 and 3/22/13) which leaves a balance of $50. I told them I was willing to pay the $50 and asked where I could send payment because I wasn't giving out my account number (I closed checking account that I had loan through). This is the e-mail I received: Subject line: Intentional neglect

The difficulties experienced by Payday Mobility when attempting to obtain the slightest amount of cooperation from you have led to your account status being updated to "Refusal to Pay/Intentional Neglect".

This is a serious matter and all appropriate actions will be taken to collect this balance. Through your actions and lack of cooperation, it is evident that you have no intention of paying this account willingly and further actions must be taken. Borrowing money and intentionally neglecting to repay your loan is a serious matter. The consequences for the actions that you have taken were clearly explained to you verbally and on your online payday loan contract that you should have printed for your records at the time of applying. To avoid these consequences, resolve your contract so that this balance can be cleared without further incident.

I replied:

It has come to my attention that payday lenders must be licensed by the state of Pennsylvania in order to offer loans to its residents. Since your company has no license in my state, the loan contract I have with you is not valid. To date, I received a deposit of $500 on February 6, 2013 and have had 3 bi-weekly withdrawals of $150 debited from my account. (February 22, 2013, March 8, 2013 and March 22, 2013) This results in balance of $50.

I am willing to pay the $50 balance. Where should I mail the pre-paid card. Please reply to this e-mail to let me know where to mail the pre-paid card.

I am also revoking authorization for ACH withdrawals and any wage assignment I may have signed. I have given a copy of these revocations to both my bank and my employer. Any future attempts to collect funds in this manner will be blocked.

Please do NOT call me at work in the future! If I continue to receive calls at my place of employment, I will file harrassment charges and also file a complaint with the Attorney General's Office, PA Department of Banking and FTC.

What should I do

FYI...you dont mail a prepaid card. You mail a money order.

FYI...calling you at work it not harassment...even if you tell them not to call. Try an airhorn.
