I have received a phone call stating that I was going to be arrested and brought to california FROM texas due to not paying a payday loan. They contacted me on my job and the person stated they were a lawyer. They would not give me their Barr number. They told me the local police would be at my house at 11am to pick me up and transport me to California. They couldnt give me the name of the Court in California that had my case. They said that my "outstanding balance" was 500.00. Does this sound legit to yall?!?!?!

This is a scam. Do not fall for it. Inform your employer's HR department that you are being targeted by identity thieves and fraudsters and all further calls of such nature should be completely ignored. Moreover, file a complaint against the name and the number with the local police.
