Plain Green Loans
Date: Fri, 02/08/2013 - 11:17
I took out a loan with Plain Green for $1000.00. I made four payments of 125.95 which totals 503.72. My bank account was restricted due to fraudulent charges. I called plain green on the day my payment was due to make the payment with my visa card since my account is restricted. I explained the situation to the rep and she told me they would not refund the $30.00 return fee on my account. I told the lady that I have every intention on paying the loan back, but will not pay the $30.00 because it was not my fault. I am aware that they are illegal in my state of California and cannot assess a $30.00 fee because it exceeds the legal amount. I am afraid that they are going to keep assessing fees and interest because my bank account is restricted. My bank advised me not to give any payday lender my account info because they sell the information to other companies. At this point I just want to pay the principal that I owe which is $496.28. How do I go about doing this?

You need to follow this link on how to deal with they are illegal lenders. http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/paydayloan/dealingwith-illegallenders.html - You need to revoke their ACH authorization and any wage assignments you may have signed with them. Your bank account is already safe. Do not give them your bank account or any credit card info.. You decide how you repay the principal - I would suggest Money Order or prepaid debit card only.
