I have a loan with this company and I was wondering if anyone knows if they're legal to loan in Texas. It was a $500 loan that was extended on 4 times ($600) plus I've made their $150 intrest plus $50 principal, for a total of $800! I know i've searched the forums and have seen that they are illegal, but now the fact that the website states A wholly owned subsidiary of PDL Ventures, LLC, I don't know. I was going to close out my account and try to settle with them, but I don't know if I'm in the legal right to. I can't get a hold of them on the phone, it's constantly busy (i've been trying since 8 this morning). HELP!
